10/09In this short video below, I talk about the power of focus. Focus has been said to be the number one quality of successful people. Yet many of us struggle with this concept.
Tiger Woods, recently reported to be the world’s first billionaire sportsman, is known to be able to focus to the exclusion of everything else under pressure, especially when a major championship is on the line. Imagine if you could be like Tiger – if you could focus on winning, on achieving your goal no matter what challenge or what crap life threw at you? How different would your life be?
Robert Kiyosaki said that FOCUS stands for: Follow One Course Until Successful so please watch this video until the end and if you like it, leave me a comment below. I’d love to know what you think about the Power of Focus.

Another example of Focus from the cricketing world is Sachin Tendulkar & Vinod Kambli. Both were very good players during their schooling days. Tendulkar had the Focus and commiment, that made him a great player. Due to lack of focus Kambli faded away.
Robert Kiyosaki’s definition of focus “Follow One Course Until Successful” is a good one.
But how do we validate that we are on the right course? May be you can cover this topic in another blog post.
Great Video Niro!
Hi Techthinker – glad you liked the video. As a fellow cricket fan, I completely agree with the Sachin Tendulkar vs Vinod Kambli example. It just shows that talent alone is not enough. As Will Smith says, the difference between talent and skill is one of the most misunderstood concepts for people who are trying to achieve. Talent, you have naturally but skill is only developed through dedicated practice and focus. In life, you are rewarded for the application of skill, not for having talent.
Thank you for your comment and I like your suggestion for a future blog post. I’ll see what I can do
Cheers,
Niro
