Hi Techthinker - glad you liked the video. As a fellow cricket fan, I completely agree with the Sachin Tendulkar vs Vinod Kambli example. It just shows that talent alone is not enough. As Will Smith says, the difference between talent and skill is one of the most misunderstood concepts for people who are trying to achieve. Talent, you have naturally but skill is only developed through dedicated practice and focus. In life, you are rewarded for the application of skill, not for having talent.

Thank you for your comment and I like your suggestion for a future blog post. I'll see what I can do :-)

Cheers,

Niro

Another example of Focus from the cricketing world is Sachin Tendulkar & Vinod Kambli. Both were very good players during their schooling days. Tendulkar had the Focus and commiment, that made him a great player. Due to lack of focus Kambli faded away.

Robert Kiyosaki's definition of focus "Follow One Course Until Successful" is a good one.

But how do we validate that we are on the right course? May be you can cover this topic in another blog post.

Great Video Niro!
