The case for affirmations have been around for probably longer than I have been alive. The premise behind affirmations is that you want to affirm your new reality – in other words an affirmation is a truth said in advance aimed at convincing our subconscious minds to wilfully create our new desired reality. The scary thing is that, if done wrongly, you can end up affirming the exact opposite of what you want. So in this video I go through the dangers of doing affirmations incorrectly which ironically is the exact way most people will tell you to do your affirmations and how to do them correctly. I also outline a new spin on affirmations, that without doubt has increased my happiness and sense of self worth immeasureably. Using this new take, I have been able to also control my attitude and the way I feel in almost any situation.
